About
Capitan Public Library is the hub of activity in the Village of Capitan, New Mexico, hosting one of three full-service public libraries in Lincoln County. Founded in 1996 and granted 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status, the Library is a vital community resource.
We strive to enrich lives within the community of Capitan and surrounding communities of Lincoln County. The Library has become an important venue for the Capitan community and surrounding areas to host, participate, and support educational programs that enhance the quality of life for all.
The Capitan Public Library is funded through donations and proceeds from the Not 2 Shabby Shop thrift store.
We are governed by a 6-member Board of Directors and is staffed by Volunteers.
Plan a visit to Capitan Public Library, we think you will like what you see.
